Atrium Medical to Move Head Offices

Hudson headquarters not spacious enough.

Currently based in Hudson, N.H., Atrium Medical Corporation is planning to move its headquarters to Merrimack, N.H., where the company has purchased a site. Atrium has grown quickly during the past few years, and after 17 years the current facility has reached its expansion limits.

The new site is a 115,000-square-foot, two-story building, and Atrium has plans to expand it to include a further 90,000-square-foot medical manufacturing and research and development facility. The company currently employs approximately 450 people in its existing facility in Hudson, with plans to expand to 700 in the next several years.

“Our company has grown tremendously over the last few years and is projected to continue expanding in the years to come. Therefore, it is necessary for us to relocate our headquarters to a facility that will meet the needs of our employees and customers in the future,” said Trevor Carlton, president of Atrium. “Moving our headquarters also allows us the opportunity to continue collaborating with leading clinicians and researchers from around the world to meet the demands for expansive evidence-based clinical trials that can lead to important medtech discoveries with the ultimate goal of improving patient outcomes.”

Atrium is a business unit of Maquet Cardiovascular, a member of the Getinge Group of companies. Atrium medical devices are focused on the coronary and vascular disease, chest trauma, hernia and soft tissue injury sectors.
